Abstract

A dampening unit (14) includes a storage container (22) for damping medium to which covers (23) of the unit (14) are attached to apply the medium for the pages on a dampening unit roller (24). A number and width of the elements correspond to a number and width of the covers, so that the ink and the medium for the zones of each page are individually applied.
