Abstract

The controllable valve is intended for connecting a breathing apparatus with a gas mask filter (18) to an air supply. A first member (2) has a cup to receive the filter and a second member (4) a tubular air inlet end (37) axially slidable in the tubular element (23) of the first part, with lateral openings (7) near its closed other end. A tubular third member (8) is axially slidable against a spring (15) by inserting the filter and fixed to the end (38) via a transverse apertured partition (39). This slide movement uncovers the valve openings (7).
