Abstract

The motor vehicle headlamp (1) has a light source (3) in a housing and an annular light outlet opening (6) for light generated by the light source to emanate. The light outlet opening has an inner radius (RI) and an outer radius (RA), whereby the inner radius is at least half the outer radius. Light in a visible range with a power level of at least 5 Watts can be output via the light output opening. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle with an inventive headlamp.
