Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing printing/embossing plates, to a device (1) for producing the plates, and to the printing/embossing plate itself. According to the invention, the essential parameters that influence the engraving process are monitored and, if necessary, are adequately stabilized over the entire machining period of a printing plate. The aim of the invention is to achieve a precision of the machining (3) of preferably at least 1 µm. To this end, the regulation of the temperatures of different components of the engraving device is, among other things, important.
