Abstract

1. An electromechanical device for manipulating a code-controlled door or access comprising a control unit arranged in the vicinity of the lock of said door or access and having a code input interface comprising a keyboard or the like (1), said interface (1, 2) being connected to a comparator (3) which also receives the normal code recorded in electronic form in a memory (4), said comparator controlling an electrical actuator (6) when the code entered by the user on the keyboard (1) is the same as the normal code recorded in the memory (4), and a remotely situated monitoring unit, the control unit also comprising an alarm circuit (7, 12-15) which is sensitive to the actuation of a coercive code generating an alarm for coding under coercive which is transmitted to the monitoring unit, characterised in that said coercive code is a short code entered after the normal code and in that said alarm circuit is actuated for a short period by entering the normal code.
