Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a simple and economical process for separating target polypeptides from fusion polypeptides in high purity and yield, thereby solving problems in purification process required for the production of recombination proteins. CONSTITUTION: The process for separating target polypeptides from fusion polypeptides is characterized by expressing a fusion protein of a target protein and a fusion partner; loading the fusion protein on a matrix; treating the fusion protein with ubiquitinase; and recovering the target protein.
