Abstract

The device has a housing (12) receiving a row of projected clamping blade pairs, where each pair has a movable blade (10) and a fixed blade. The movable blades are carried by a sliding gear (14) which is actuated by an actuating system (30) to open and/or close the blade pairs. Each movable blade is displaceable in a reception area inside the gear by pressure of a compression spring (15). The actuating system has an electromagnet (31) comprising a horizontal rod (32) fixed to an end of an arm (17) of the gear. An independent claim is also included for a hair dryer comprising a hair treating device.
