Abstract

1. Roof window (1) composed of a mobile element (5) connected, via pivots (7) having hollow shafts (26), to a fixed element (2), the said mobile element (5) being provided with a glazed surface (6) fitted with a defrosting device (21) formed by an electric resistor (22) connected to an electric power supply (25) with the help of electric cables (27) housed in the hollow shaft (26) of at least one of the pivots (7), the latter comprising a contactor actuated upon the closing of the mobile element (5), characterized by the fact that the said contactor is composed of a spring-loaded sphere, integral with the mobile portion of the pivot (7), cooperating, upon the closing of the mobile element (5), with an energized surface located on the fixed portion of the pivot (7) and connected to the electric power supply (25).
