Abstract

1. Frame with bar grate for insulating glass panes, whereby the frames (10) consist of hollow profile sections (10.1, 10.2) filled with a drying agent and the bar grate (11) is formed of a plurality of intersecting cross bars (11.1, 11.2), whereby the cross bars (11.1, 11.2) are hollow profile sections which are provided at their open ends with inserts (12) closing the latter in essentially positive fashion with connecting means operating in conjunction with the inner walls of the hollow profile sections (10.1, 10.2), characterised in that the inserts (12) provided in the open ends of the cross bars (10.1; 10.2) are approximately flush with the latter and the connecting means are designed as staples (13.1) passed through the frame legs (10.1; 10.2) penetrating through the whole cross section and into the inserts (12), the closed centre leg of said staples resting against the outer side of the hollow profiles (10.1, 10.2) forming the frame.
