Abstract

The device e.g. surface-mounted shockproof socket (1), has a lock mechanism with a lock (10) integrated in a housing. A cap-like flap lid (6) has a locking unit e.g. locking eyelet, at its side opposite to a pivot, and the locking unit intervenes with the closed flap lid by a housing recess in the lock mechanism. The lock mechanism has a locking cam co-operating with the locking unit after actuation of the lock such that opening of the flap lid is stopped.
