Abstract

The head has a frame (1) fixed to a pressurized chamber through a conveyor belt. A set of horizontal rollers (2, 3) includes a set of actuators (6-8) e.g. pneumatic actuators, and seals (4, 5) between the rollers and the frame are in the form of pneumatic actuators without the pistons. The rollers are placed on the top of each other and pressed against opposite faces of the belt, where the actuators are completely sealed and operated at a low pressure. The rollers and a set of seals (4, 5) are connected to the actuators. An independent claim is also included for a control process for a heat treatment machine with sealing heads provided with actuators.
