Disclosed is a fitting for a piece of furniture (20) that is to be suspended on a building wall by means of at least one suspension device (10). Said suspension device (10) rests against an external side of a wall element (21, 22) of the piece of furniture (20) by means of a fastening plate (11), said external side of the wall element (21, 22) facing the building wall. An angled profiled member (1), which cooperates with the fastening plate (11) of the suspension device (10) with the aid of a leg (2) that corresponds to the fastening plate (11) and can be joined to the suspension device (10) via the wall element 21, 22) located between the suspension device (10) and the leg (2), is disposed in a corner region between at least two adjoining wall elements (21, 22, 23) on the internal side of the piece of furniture (20), at the level of the suspension device (10). The wall element (21, 22) is permanently clamped between the suspension device (10) and the leg (2) in the used position of the wall element (21, 22). The inventive fitting comprises at least one additional leg (3) that can be connected to another wall element (21, 22, 23).
