Combined handwashing and drying device having at least one water outlet (1), at least one air outlet (2) and a trough-like water basin (3) for collecting washing water (4), wherein the water outlet (1) discharges the washing water (4), and the air outlet (2) discharges the drying air (5), essentially to the same location, characterized in that the drying air (5) is discharged transversely to the user.
