Abstract

The invention relates to a device for lifting and moving an object (4), that comprises a crane (1), said crane including a boom (1b) equipped with a so-called lifting cable (1a) having at the free end thereof a link (8, 8a-8b-8c) capable of holding at the lower end thereof an object suspended thereto via a gripping device (5,5a-5b), wherein the lifting cable (1a) is coupled to at least one traction cable (9, 9a-9b) having an end connected to at least one traction winch (10, 10a-10b), characterised in that it comprises: a powered bearing (30) connected to a connection ring or hook (1d) at the lower end of said lifting cable, said link being connected at the upper end thereof to a lower mobile portion (30b) of the powered bearing, said powered bearing (30) thus being capable of controlling the powered rotation of said link and of said object in rotation about itself when said lower portion (30b) is actuated in powered rotation; and said powered bearing (30) cooperates with a reaction arm (32) that allows the transfer of the torsion stress generated by said powered bearing upon rotation, at a fixed upper portion (30a) of said powered bearing, connected to said connection ring or hook.
