Abstract

The invention relates to a hair smoothing apparatus that comprises a main body (3) with an air inlet (4) and an air outlet (5), a heating member provided in said main body (3) and adapted for heating air, a fan provided in said main body (3) and adapted for blowing air to the heating member, a handle (6) attached to said main body (3), a smoothing device (10) including at least two smoothing members (11, 12) opposite each other and interacting for clamping a hair lock while being arranged at the end of the air outlet (5), a device for moving the smoothing members adapted for modifying the distance between two opposite smoothing members, and an adjustment device (14) for adjusting the pressure strength between the smoothing members (11, 12). According to the invention, the apparatus includes a pull tab (60) for transmitting to the smoothing device a control from the movement device and/or the adjustment device (14).
