Abstract

The present invention relates to a stair lift (1) for overcoming height differences (D) formed by at least two height levels (N1, N2). The stair lift (1) comprises at least one lift platform (HP, HP1, HP2) and at least one stair body (TK, TK1, TK2). The stair platform (HP, HP1, HP2) and the platform surface (PF, PFl, PF2) can be moved between at least two states. In said states, the respective platform surface (PF, PFl, PF2) is vertically flush with a first level (N1) or a second level (N2). Using sliding steps (S, S1-S6) and a coupling (K) to the respective lift platform (HP, HP1, HP2) and to the movement of the platform surface (PF, PFl, PF2), either a staircase (TL) connecting the levels (N1, N2) or a surface (TF) that is vertically flush with one of the levels (N1, N2) and the platform surface (PF, PFl, PF2), is formed.
