Abstract

The machine has a frame (1) supporting rotors (2, 3) and carrying a driving unit (4) for rotating the rotors. A removable rigid fixation unit (5) fixes axles (2a, 3a) of the rotors on the frame, and has rigid support cases (27) that authorize rotation of the rotors for operating the machine. The cases and the rotors constitute a rigid assembly (10) that is handled to be moved, stored and mounted on the frame or removed from the frame. Movable longitudinal doors (14) include two chasing tools (40) on their interior surfaces, where the tools are respectively fitted in the rotors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for mounting a rigid assembly comprising support cases and rotors, on a frame of a material grinding machine (2) a method for removing a rigid assembly comprising support cases and rotors, from a frame of a material grinding machine.
