Abstract

1. An installation unit for sanitary equipment, especially a WC installation unit, comprising a cast or molded member (1) with integrated service lines for supply and/or discharge, control fittings, flushing pan, etc. which member has substantially flat front and rear walls and attachments for mounting the sanitary equipment, further comprising a bracket to be fastened at a wall of a building and having projecting arms on to which the installation unit can be slid more or less far and secured in the desired position by lockbolts, characterized by slits (22, 23) formed in the cast or molded member (1) so as to extend from the rear wall to the front wall and fully encircle the projecting arms (24, 25) of the bracket when the installation unit has been pushed with its molded slits (22, 23) on the arms (24, 25) of the bracket (26), the lockbolts (27) being adapted to be threaded laterally through the installation unit into the arms of the bracket.
