Abstract

A two-piece hanger (1) is provided for use in the building trade, for attaching apparatus to create a framework for provision of a secondary ceiling or wall. The two-piece hanger (1) is comprised of an elongate fixing portion (20) which is removably attachable to the hanging portion (10). The hanging portion (10), is provided with at least one aperture (11, 12), and the two-piece hanger (1) is constructed such that one end of the elongate fixing portion (20) passes through one of the at least one apertures (11, 12), and the other end of the elongate fixing portion (20) either passes through the same aperture as the first end, or through a different one. Such a two-piece hanger (1), provides a flexed elongate fixing portion (20), which provides a loop (2).
