The present invention relates to a method of control implemented in an automation rig, said automation rig comprising a central unit module (13) and an input output module (22a) that are able to communicate with one another through a wireless link, the method comprising steps of: - dispatching a command by the central unit module (13) to the input/output module (22a) via the wireless link, said command being accompanied by a moment of sending of the command - execution of the command by the input/output module (22a) at a given instant, this instant being determined on the basis of the moment of sending (T0) of the command received by the input/output module (22a) and of a predetermined latency time (x) stored in the input/output module (22a).
