A gripping device (1) for gripping substantially parallelepipedal containers (C); each container (C) presenting at the top respective first gripping interfaces (I1); the gripping device (1) comprising at least a first support member (20) provided with respective first coupling means (22) arranged selectively to couple to an interface (I1) of a first container (C); second coupling means (32) being arranged selectively to couple to an interface (I1) of a further container (C).
