Abstract

This invention relates to equipment comprising a pair of cycling shoes in which the soles (1) are provided with means (3) of connection and/or fixing to a pedal, and comprising several parts for contact with the ground consisting of accessories (10, 11), said accessories (10, 11) forming variously a front plate (10a, 11a), a heel (10b, 11b) and side strips (10c, 10d; 11c, 11d). This equipment comprises at least two interchangeable sets of four accessories (10, 11) which can be adapted to said sole (1): the accessories (11) of one of said sets comprises crampons (14), to create a cycling shoe suitable for cross-country cycling; and the accessories (10) of the other of said sets comprises a continuous or at least substantially continuous contact surface, to create a cycling shoe suitable for cycle touring. The accessories (10, 11), once fitted to said sole (1), are higher than said connection and/or fixing means (3).
