Abstract

1. Apparatus for folding-in the bottom flaps (31, 32; 33, 34) of a folded box (3) having at least two oppositely located bottom flaps which is put over a loading platform (4), comprising a base (2) which accommodates the platform (4) and which has at least one slot-shaped opening (21) for the open bottom flaps, folded open counter to their folded direction, and which serves as a folding member, characterised in that the boundary edges of the opening (21) lie in the plane of the base (2), and that the base (2) is mounted on a supporting frame (5) and can be moved to and fro in its plane until the bottom flaps (31, 32 and 33, 34) can be consecutively picked up by the opening (21) and folded into their closed position.
