Abstract

1. Method for cleaning pallets for the moulding of plates of hardenable plastic material, for example of concrete roofing tiles, in an extrusion process in which, on the pallets which are brought to a coating installation on a carrying device with adjacent abutting edges a continuous coat of the plastic material is applied and, afterwards, compressed by means of a moulding cylinder and of a smoothing tool and, if necessary, profiled ; the compressed coat is further cut in a cutting station at the abutting edges of the pallets into plate shapes which will be later hardened, if necessary under high temperature, and then separated from the pallets, and afterwards taken away while the pallets are carried back to the coating installation, characterized in that pallets are conveyed from the carrying device to a cleaning installation before the renewed coating with the plastic material, and in that they pass through the cleaning installation, their abutting edges being in the advance direction, that the abutting edges are freed from the hardened material sticking on them and that the pallets are then brought back to the carrying device and are further carried in their previous position.
