Abstract

A running-board of metal, especially a light-metal plank, with longitudinal ribs formed on it and with recesses provided in it and passing through the plank, is intended to be designed in such a way that simplification of production is possible. For this, the longitudinal rib (30, 30a) extends above a longitudinal groove (32) made in the underside of the tread surface (10, 11) and is so subdivided by indentations or such like interspaces (36) that the respective longitudinal groove forms the recess (32m) in the interspaces.
