Abstract

The heating boiler casing has a front wall with a closing cover which consists of a cover plate with an internally arranged heat- insulating block which projects into a front wall opening. Between front wall and cover plate, a seal is provided. On the cover plate (1), there is arranged a sealing ridge (3) which tightly surrounds the heat-insulating block on its sides (12) or is additionally sealed off against the heat-insulating block (2). This ridge is placed with its end edge (4) against the seal (7) which is arranged on the front wall (5) and surrounds the front wall opening (6). Apart from the fact that as a result the cover plate is better reinforced and the heat- insulating block is better protected against damage, this design counteracts formation of condensate and heat radiation in this region.
