Abstract
Serving to produce a displacement air stream is a housing (1), to which fresh air can be admitted via an air inlet (2) arranged at the top. The housing (1) is provided at the bottom with nozzles (5) serving as outlet openings, the centre-to-centre distance (t) of which corresponds to at least three to twelve times the outlet diameter (d) of the nozzles (5). Although the individual jets which can be produced by this device are not completely free from turbulences, they permit the formation of a stable displacement air stream with a relatively low air volume flow. <IMAGE>
