Abstract

A laundry support with a push-in gap and at least one pivoting piece which projects with an eccentric clamping face into the push-in gap and which has a prestressing spring. The technical problem is to design a laundry support in such a way that a high clamping effect within a wide clamping range is obtained. Two pivoting pieces (7) arranged on both sides of the push-in gap (9) and located opposite one another with parallel pivot axes are provided, and each pivoting piece (7) has a release lever (11) which projects out of the housing of the laundry support (1) on the side facing away from the push-in gap.
