Abstract

The 180 DEG -hinge consists of a first block (16) fastened to the cupboard housing (14) by means of screw bolts and of a second U-shaped block (24) engaging round the first block (16) and fastened to the door leaf by means of clamping-pin devices (20). The second block (24) is pushed into a recess (18) made in the rebate region (22) of the door leaf (12) and at the same time surrounds the recess edges (26, 28). The clamping-pin devices (20) extend beyond the recess region into the corner regions (30) formed by the rebate (22) and thereby retain the second block (24) in the recess (18). According to the invention, for use on cupboards in a row, the axis of rotation of the hinge (10) is located outside the corner region (30) formed by the rebate (22) of the door leaf (12), so that the hinge bearing bolt (104) is at a distance M in front of the outer face (78) of the door leaf which corresponds to the distance N between the bearing-bolt centre and the tangent (80), parallel to the outer face (78) of the door leaf, to the bearing part projecting furthest (end face 82). <IMAGE>
