Abstract

There is disclosed a window of the kind having at least one light (11) comprised by a non-metallic rectangular frame (12) of wood or wood substitute material wherein said rectangular frame (12) has a rebate (14) around the inner edge (15) of its outer face (16), a first extruded section (17) secured to the walls (18) of the rebate (14) lying in the plane of the frame (12), a second extruded section (25) engaged with said first section (17) so as to be restrained against outward movement, resilient sealing strips (22, 29) on opposite inner edges of said first and second sections (17, 25) and a glazing unit (30) firmly gripped around its perimeter between said sealing strips (22, 29).
