Abstract
The scaffold plank has a substantially rectangular, elongated plank panel (1) in the form of a laminated wood panel with symmetrical structure, comprising, in addition to wood layers (11) with a fibre direction running transversely to the longitudinal direction, in each case a plurality of wood layers (13, 15, 17), immediately following one another, with a fibre direction running in the longitudinal direction. On the underside of the plank panel (1), there are provided in the longitudinal direction of the plank panel (1) a plurality of reinforcing ribs (7) likewise composed of laminated wood, the layers (19) of which have fibres running exclusively in the longitudinal direction of the plank panel (1) and extend perpendicularly to the plane of the plank panel (1). To connect the reinforcing ribs (7) to the plank panel (1), longitudinal ribs (21) which engage in complimentary longitudinal grooves (23) of the plank panel (1) are provided on the reinforcing ribs (7). The longitudinal grooves (23) reach substantially up to the lowest, transversely running layer (11) of the plank panel (1).
