Abstract

Known plastic electrodes, in particular those used in the drying of walls, have the drawback that they are practically ineffective after a very brief transition period. To obtain a conductive plastic electrode which has the same voltage potential over its entire surface, even when large, and which gives trouble-free performance for long periods, the electric line (3) having a lower resistance than that of the conductive plastics material of the plastic electrode (7) is conductively connected to the material of the plastic electrode (7) through a resistance connection (5). The resistance of the resistance connection is greater than that of the electric line (3) and that of the plastics material. The plastic electrode is particularly useful in the drying of walls.
