Abstract

The cushion (1), in particular a pillow, has a fibre-containing filling and at least one filling opening. In addition to a multiplicity of individual filling units (3), the filling has at least one insert (2) made of a material which has different hardness characteristics than the filling units (3). The latter may be, in particular, spherical fibre units, e.g. fibre balls or flock. A cushion (1) is thus provided, the hardness of which, in particular insofar as the hardness distribution inside the cushion is concerned, can be adjusted by the user easily and without restriction.
