Abstract

In a device for mounting a print head (10) on the print head carriage of a printer, comprising a support element (20) attached to the print head carriage, the former having a print head seating (22, 24) with bearing surfaces for the print head and clamps (32) for pressing the print head (10) on to the bearing surfaces, the clamps comprise two clamping levers (32) which are mounted on both sides of the print head seating (22, 24) on the support element (20) so as to be able to swivel between a release position and a locked position and each of which features a tensioning member (46) designed to engage behind a clamping surface (16) on the print head (10), where detents (50, 44) are provided on the support element (20) and the clamping levers (32), which engage with one another in the locked position of the clamping levers (32). <IMAGE>
