Abstract

The invention relates to an operating lever (1) for a safety switch, over-current circuit breaker or the like, in the form of a two-armed lever. This lever consists of a lever arm (2), external to the housing, which carries an operating handle (3), consisting of a lever arm (4) internal to the housing, which is connected to a drive element for the switch mechanism, can be locked in the switched-off position of the operating lever (1) and is provided with a bearing part (9) for bearing the operating lever (1) such that it can pivot, as well as a joint arranged between the operating handle (3) and the bearing part (9). The axis of the said joint is arranged parallel to the pivoting axis of the operating lever.
