Abstract

The filling supports for machines, devices or the like for filling valve bags (14) with material, in particular powdery material, comprises an inner tube (4) for guiding the flow of material, and an outer tube (1) which surrounds the inner tube at a distance, for the purpose of forming an air-ducting channel (5) in between. To improve the bearing of the bag valve on the outer tube (1), the outer tube is of rigid design in its attachment region for receiving the valve (17) of the valve bag (14) and is provided with perforations (18, 19) for the application of reduced pressure in the channel (5). The perforations (18, 19) preferably consist of slots (18) which are provided at a distance from one another about the circumference of the outer tube (1) and are furthermore so arranged that, as seen in the axial projection direction, at least adjoin one another by their ends to form an air-suction zone which is free of interruptions in the circumferential direction. <IMAGE>
