Abstract

A deaerator for a liquid pump (1) working with pressure and intake stroke is constructed in a pump head housing (3). A venting duct has a switch valve (17) and an adjustable throttle (18) connected in parallel. The switch valve is formed by a valve seat (19) and a closing piece (20) on a first screw element (21). The throttle (18) is formed by a restrictor seat (35) and a throttle element (36) formed on a second screw element (33). This throttle is arranged in the first screw element (21).
