Abstract
A joint connector for plane and three-dimensional framework structures, in particular for wooden or metal constructions, produces a connection between tension and compression members at a joint, the members being connected by plate elements. The joint connector ensures a detachable and articulated connection between the tension and compression members, so that erection of the framework structure to a great height is not necessary, and the joint connector is demountable. Each tension and compression member is connected at its end face to a plate element which engages in slots in the joint connector and is secured there in articulated manner by a hinge pin or a hook. In this way, tension and compression members can be introduced into the joint connector at any desired inclination and fastened there. <IMAGE>
