Abstract

An overhead door has panels (10, 12) which are pivotably interconnected by means of a hinge (14). To avoid fingers being crushed, a finger guard (34) is fastened between neighbouring edges of panels, which guard has an elastic ball-shaped section (46) and a front piece (40) which in closed position is aligned coplanarly with the front outer shells (18, 20) of the panels.
