Abstract

An automatic roller shutter securement against pushing-up of the roller shutter curtain consisting of sectional bars which are guided in U-shaped rails (1) and are displaceable to a limited extent relative to each other in the direction of movement of the roller shutter curtain, having at least one locking member (11) whose upper, sharp-edged end (14) can be pressed against a leg (2) of the guide rail and which is connected on the one hand via a first tab-shaped coupling member (10) for transmitting the contact pressure force to a lower mounting (8), attached to a lower sectional bar, and via a second coupling member (18) to an upper mounting, attached to an upper sectional bar, the locking member (11) and the coupling members (8, 18) being movable perpendicularly to the plane of the roller shutter curtain. The technical problem is to provide a roller shutter securement in which the locking member can be jammed and wedged directly inside the guide rail, without an articulated connection being arranged within this clamping path. The lower end (13) of the locking member (11) is also of edged design and can be pressed by the appropriate coupling tab (10) against the opposite leg (2) of the U-shaped rail (1). <IMAGE>
