Abstract

The mechanism for concrete reinforcing bars, partly grouted, provides blending through 90 deg. It has two shaping tools (1,6), swivelable about a bolt (15), forming a swivel and bending axis. The first tool (1) is height adjustable on a support (3) and lockable in position, and has a holder (17) for the bar (16) open to one side whose free space is tangential to the bolt. On the second tool (6) is a freely rotating shaft (18) parallel to and offset from the bolt, and and an actuating arm (7). The tools swivel over a sufficient angle for the shaft to move across the extension of the free space in the holder.
