Abstract

The blank for producing a package for an at least approximately circular part has a top wall, a bottom wall and two side walls. The top and bottom walls are essentially circular whereas the side walls are of rectangular shape, but have a length which is less than the diameter of the two other walls. At the transition to the side walls, the top and bottom walls are adapted to the shape of the side walls. Flaps are attached in the set-back portion thus formed, which flaps form the end faces of the package and extend at most slightly beyond these two walls. <IMAGE>
