Abstract

1. Apparatus for dispensing metered quantities of single-component or multi-component adhesive, sealing, filling or priming compounds, having an axially displaceable extrusion piston (4) which comprises a piston rod (4a) provided with a plurality of successive spaced tooth detents (4b), a feed detent (11) which can be actuated through a predetermined stroke by means of a feed device (7, 8) and which engages in the tooth detents (4b) of the piston rod and a retaining detent (5) which likewise engages in the tooth detents (4b) of the piston rod, characterised in that the distance (a), measured in the feed direction, between the feed detent (11) and the retaining detent (5) is smaller, in the position after the feed detent (11) has been actuated, than an integral multiple of the spacing (t) of the tooth detents.
