Abstract

The container has a preferably cylindrical wall (2) and is provided at the bottom with a container bottom (1) and at the top with a container cover (3). This container cover (3) contains an intermediate reservoir (5) which is essentially delimited by a cover bottom (6) and a membrane (8). This reserovir is provided with an inlet valve, which is formed from an opening (6a) arranged in the cover bottom (6), and a flap (10), and with an outlet valve. The latter is formed by an opening (8a) in the membrane (8) and a pin (9), on which the edge of this opening (8a) lies. It is thus possible, by means of pressure on the membrane (8), to deform it elastically, so that viscous mass, for example a cream intended for body care, emerges from the intermediate reservoir (5) through the opening (8a). When the external pressure is released, the membrane (8) again adopts its original shape, as a result of which a renewed flow of the mass from the container interior (7) into the intermediate reservoir (5) is caused. Since, when not in use, the dispensing opening (8a) lies constantly on the pin (9), it is closed, so that there is no danger that the viscous mass present in the intermediate reservoir can dry out. <IMAGE>
