Abstract

The ladder consists of two stiles (1) which are connected to each other by rungs (2) and at least one rung (22). The rung (22) is constructed as a transparent hollow body, an insertion piece (5) being pushed onto its end (21). Together with the insertion piece (5) the end (21) of the rung (22) is inserted into an opening (26) in the stile (1). Provided on the insertion piece are ribs (14) and a thickening (10) of a pin (9), by means of which parts the insertion piece (5) is held positively in the stile (1). Arranged on the inside of the insertion piece (5) are pins (16) which, when the insertion piece is pushed onto the end (21) of the rung (22), engage in bore holes (19) in the end (21). By this means, the rung (22) is also held together positively with the stile (1). An insertion sheet (24) with a marking is placed in the hollow space of the rung (22) and the ladder is then assembled so that removal of the marking on the insertion sheet (24) can only be achieved by destruction of a part of the ladder. <IMAGE>
