Abstract

The fixing and adjusting device consists essentially of a U-shaped holding profile (15) which grips round a vertical post (16) of the construction element. The legs (17, 18) situated mutually parallel, are provided with in each case one guide slot (19) which extends upwards from the bottom edge. A web (11) of a likewise U-shaped guide rail (12) which is fastened to the building wall engages in this guide slot (19). The holding profile (15) is additionally provided with an internally threaded sleeve (21) into which an adjusting screw (22) is screwed for height adjustment. The vertical post (16) of the curtain wall is connected to the holding profile (15) by a connecting screw (13). Horizontal elongated holes (23, 24) are provided in the parallel legs of the holding profile (15) in order to align the post (16) or the curtain wall with respect to the building wall.
