Abstract

In a burner for thermal working of working parts with at least one gas pipe (8) which runs in a handle part (1) and has at least one valve (7, 9), a gas connection piece (5) arranged at one end of the handle part (1) and a burner insert which is fastened replaceably in an insertion receptacle (13) at the opposite end of the handle part (1) and which can be locked axially undisplaceably by means of a fixing device (22) provided integrated in the handle part (1), it is envisaged that, for rapid reception and removal of the burner insert and secure one-handed operation, the burner insert can be inserted by simple pushing into the insertion receptacle (13) and can, with simultaneous gas supply release, be fixed radially securely by means of the fixing device (22) in a rotationally secured working position, that the burner insert can be rotated, possibly in the handle part (1), without interruption of the gas supply after an at least partial operation of the fixing device (22) to change its working position in the insertion receptacle (13) and is then rotationally secured again by letting go the fixing device (22), and that the burner insert is desecured after complete operation of the fixing device (22) and can be extracted from the handle part (1) possibly with simultaneous gas supply interruption. <IMAGE>
