Abstract

In a construction element composed of a wooden part and a part of synthetic material, the wooden part has, on at least one side, at least one recess into which the part of synthetic material is injection moulded. In this case, the at least one recess penetrates so deeply into the wooden part that a self-supporting bond between synthetic material and wood results.
