Abstract

A wood/metal window with a fixed glass has a window frame (1) made of wood, on which are fastened, as the outer shell, metal profile sections (2) which form a first abutment, provided with a seal (5), for a glass pane (6). Glass-holding strips (7) made of wood are provided, which are releasably fastened to the window frame (1) and have a second abutment, likewise provided with a seal (33), for the glass pane (6), so that the glass pane (6) is held with a pressing force between the two abutments. The glass-holding strips (7) are fastened to the window frame (1) by means of local clip connections (8) which are arranged in a concealed manner. Each clip connection (8) consists of a receiving part (9) placed on the window frame (1) and of an insert (10) arranged on the glass-holding strip (7). For taking up the moment acting on the glass-holding strip (7) due to the pressing force, there are provided between the receiving part (9) and insert part (10) two supporting points (18, 21) arranged at a distance, of which the supporting point (21) facing the inner room (15) is designed in such a way that it can be lifted out. <IMAGE>
