Abstract

A door frame is proposed which is produced from a sheet metal band of less than 2.2 mm thickness and has two undercut grooves (2 and 4) in which are arranged a fireproofing strip (3) and a sealing strip (5) respectively. The sheet metal strip is formed in the cold state into a profile (1) whose cross-section corresponds to that of the frame provided with the grooves (2 and 4).
